The aim was to promote Arab World cultural awareness in UK schools. This gave the freedom to tailor a curriculum based around the a re appropriation of the museum's collection in projects for students aged 11-14. For each stage, work was presented as part of a joint exhibition at the British Museum, London in 2007, Birmingham Museum in 2008 (in collaboration with the British Museum) and The British Museum, London in 2009. All work pictured is students work. More information on this collaboration can be found on the British Museum website by searching for Athier.
